This Geneva hotel is nestled in Downtown, which is known for a buzzing nightlife scene on neon-lit Granville Street, with raucous bars, clubs, and live bands at the art deco Commodore Ballroom, a mere 150 metres from the restaurant Le bateau-lavoir. There is the dome-topped Musee Ariana Museum within 25 minutes' walk of the Tourelles Geneva. Nature lovers will appreciate the proximity to Lake Geneva, which is merely 0.7 km away. Guests can also visit the old Saint-Pierre cathedral "Basilica Notre-Dame of Geneva", located not far from the accommodation. Geneva railway station is only 10 minutes' walk away, while Cointrin airport is 5 km from Hotel Des Tourelles.

After my recent stay in Geneva, I was pleased with the blend of traditional and modern elements at the two-star hotel. The central location provided easy access to Downtown Geneva and the old town, while the view of the river added a touch of tranquility. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with modern amenities such as a fridge and TV. The staff were extremely helpful and offered guidance on exploring Geneva. Breakfast was basic but sufficient for a quick start to the day. While some rooms were in need of refurbishment, the overall value for money was commendable. The hotel's proximity to major attractions and public transport hubs made it a convenient choice for my stay in Geneva.
